Word for the Day: Thursday, February 4, 2016

The Word for Today (Thursday) is Encouragement. If you're a patron of, say, a Public Radio or TV Station, of a Public Library, a local Symphony Orchestra or Opera House, or related organizations, show some encouragement! Donate, if you are able. Tell your friends and family. Don't take them for granted or they might actually go away. (I personally lost a perfectly good listener-supported radio station in Seattle, because the station's funding went down and they were susceptible to a buyout offer from a commercial Rock Music station. Went away, cold turkey!)
