Word for the Day: Wednesday, July 31, 2019

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Thoughtfulness.  Thoughtful Celebration?  (Mind your Neighbors).  [or]  Celebrating Thoughtfulness?  (Yes!)  So what is Thoughtfulness, but Being Full of Thought?  Another way to say this, is that we Think, before we Speak and/or Act.  And THAT can be something to Celebrate.

Tuesday, July 30, 2019

Word for the Day: Tuesday, July 30, 2019

The Word for Today (Tuesday) is Support.  Celebration of Support?  [or]  Supporting Celebrations?  (Both?)  So when should Support be Celebrated?  How about when you find out that you  *have*  a Support Group (and always had it, even if you didn't know it)?  (Now, if you don't know what I am talking about, Google  "Michael Teachings Support Circle").  And the best part?  You  *also*  get to be part of the Support Groups of other people!

Word for the Day: Monday, July 29, 2019

The Word for Today (Monday) is Comfort.  And there are  *definitely*  times where, even a Moment of Comfort is something to Celebrate.  If you run a Business, by the way, taking Comfort into consideration may mean,  Literally, how good your Customer Base will be.  For example, a Restaurant may have the  "Best Food in Town",  yet, if they have excessively uncomfortable chairs, I am unlikely to return, and it will figure in any Reviews I issue for the Restaurant.  Think about it.

Sunday, July 28, 2019

Word for the Day: Sunday, July 28, 2019

The Word for Today (Sunday) is Nourishment.  And a Nourishing, as well as Delicious meal can  *definitely*  be something to Celebrate.  But don't stop there:  Things to Celebrate shouldn't be too hard to find.

Weekly Theme: Week of July 28 to August 3, 2019

The Theme for this Week is Celebration.  Does Google have something to say about Celebrate?  Yes:   To "acknowledge (a significant or happy day or event) with a social gathering or enjoyable activity".  Obviously, we have some "Life Events" that qualify:  Birthdays (including Births), Weddings and Wedding Anniversaries, Graduation from High School or College, and Retirement make up a few.  There are also certain Holidays that come to mind (such as, for example, Christmas, Hanukkah and Earth Day).  But we are always free to make up our own days to Celebrate.  And Have Fun!

Saturday, July 27, 2019

Word for the Day: Saturday, July 27, 2019

The Word for Today (Saturday) is Prosperity.  A Prosperous Revelation?  (Huh?)  [or]  Revelations about Prosperity?  (More likely).  If you become "famous",  due to your Revelations, people might  "pay you" for them, adding to Prosperity.  Also, Prosperity is a popular topic, which might attract people, who are "getting Revelations".  In other words,  "All of the Above".

Friday, July 26, 2019

Word for the Day: Friday, July 26, 2019

The Word for Today (Friday) is Liberation.  Liberation  *from*  Revelation?  (Please, no!)  But Liberation from, what stands in the way of Revelation?  Sure!  So Liberate yourselves!

Thursday, July 25, 2019

Word for the Day: Thursday, July 25, 2019

The Word for Today (Thursday) is Wisdom.  A Wise Revelation?  (Indeed:  The Best Kind!)  So How does one Develop, and maintain Wisdom?  A  *lot*  has been written, about reading the "right Books", and attending certain "Weekend Seminars"  (put on by  *many*  different Organizations).  Certainly, these can help. But How About Life Experience?  How much Wisdom does, simply  "Muddling"  through Life Provide?  A Lot, it seems!  For example, how you Relate to your Environment, as well as the People in it, says a Lot about Who you Are.  Good Luck!

Wednesday, July 24, 2019

Word for the Day: Wednesday, July 24, 2019

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Impartiality.  An Impartial Revelation?  (Either unlikely, or the Best Kind).  What's interesting in this World, is that, where people  *ask*  for Impartiality most, such as in our News Industry, they are Least Likely to find it.

Tuesday, July 23, 2019

Word for the Day: Tuesday, July 23, 2019

The Word for Today (Tuesday) is Consequence.  Do Revelations have Consequences?  (Of Course!)  But I submit that behavior, that  *prevents*  Revelations are likely to have even  *worse*  Consequences.  Think about it.

Monday, July 22, 2019

Word for the Day: Monday, July 22, 2019

The Word for Today (Monday) is Elimination.  Eliminate Revelations completely?  (I hope not!)  But Eliminating practices  (i.e. Self Doubt)  that stand in the way of Receiving Revelations makes a lot of sense.  And may your Revelations be happy ones.

Sunday, July 21, 2019

Word for the Day: Sunday, July 21, 2019

The Word for Today (Sunday) is Self-Reliance.  Revelation of Self-Reliance?  [or]  A Self-Reliant Revelation?  (Second one sounds better).  I will be the first, to admit that Self-Reliance is a good Trait to develop, but don't forget that there are others in the World also.  In other words, be Self-Reliant, but work with others at the same time.

Weekly Theme: Week of July 21-27, 2019

The Theme for this Week is Revelation.  What does Google say about Revelation?  It is "a surprising and previously unknown fact, especially one that is made known in a dramatic way".  This makes sense, since the "main Connotation" for it is Religions in nature, and Religious Revelations tend to be Dramatic.  But it doesn't have to be.  You can learn to "issue Revelations calmly".  For example, many get "surprising facts", just by asking for Dreams.

Saturday, July 20, 2019

Word for the Day: Saturday, July 20, 2019

The Word for Today (Saturday) is Expansion.  Philosophy of Expansion?  (It depends!)  So  *what*  would this Philosophy Depend on?  Simple:  If it's a Philosophy of Spiritual  (or even Intellectual)  Expansion, that can be  *quite*  Cool.  However, watch out for a Philosophy of eating Excessive, Delicious Food, which can cause a Different Kind of Expansion, around the Middle of the Physical Body.  Word to the wise.

Words for the Day: Friday, July 19, 2019

The Words for Today (Friday) are Trust and Faith.  Whose Philosophy do you Trust?  Or have Faith in?  No, I am not trying to suggest anything, but keep an eye out on those two issues, especially with the way our current events have been playing out lately.

Thursday, July 18, 2019

Word for the Day: Thursday, July 18, 2019

The Word for Today (Thursday) is Gratitude.  A Philosophy of Gratitude, in my opinion, is one of the Best Philosophies around, because, along with Kindness, Gratitude helps the World go around.  So what are you Grateful for?

Wednesday, July 17, 2019

Word for the Day: Wednesday, July 17, 2019

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Equality.  How do you figure out the Value of a Philosophy of Equality?  In my opinion, if it's a Philosophy of Equal Opportunity, it is likely to Work Well.  However, watch out if it's a Philosophy of Forced Conformity:  That takes people in directions they may not wish to go.

Tuesday, July 16, 2019

Word for the Day: Tuesday, July 16, 2019

The Word for Today (Tuesday) is Prudence. Philosophy of Prudence?  [or]  A Prudent Philosophy?  (Sound alike, but they are not).  But consider the  *real*  meaning of Prudence, "showing care or thought for the Future", and Prudence looks different from the "slang" term, "Prude" that is often thrown out by people who should know better.

Monday, July 15, 2019

Word for the Day: Monday, July 15, 2019

The Word for Today (Monday) is Innocence.  An Innocent Philosophy?  (As opposed to a Guilty Philosophy?)  [or]  A Philosophy of Innocence?  (Google it:  Some interesting articles).  But also Google  "Beauty of Innocence".  Lots there.

Sunday, July 14, 2019

Word for the Day: Sunday, July 14, 2019

The Word for Today (Sunday) is Forgiveness.  So would one need to "ask Forgiveness" for their Philosophy?  Maybe, depending on the Details of that Philosophy.  But where you might have to ask  *yourself*  forgiveness, is if you  *refuse*  to Form your own Philosophy.

Weekly Theme: Week of July 14-20, 2019

The Theme for this Week is Philosophy.  What does Google say?  How about "the study of the fundamental nature of knowledge, reality, and existence, especially when considered as an academic discipline"?  Quite a mouthful.  In fact, this looks to be a High Powered week.  But remember, through all of this, that you are in charge of your own, personal Philosophy.

Saturday, July 13, 2019

Word for the Day: Saturday, July 13, 2019

The Word for Today (Saturday) is Authenticity.  Authentic Education?  Authentic Teachers?  (Yes to both).  Another important thing to do, of course, is to be Authentic to Yourself.

Friday, July 12, 2019

Word for the Day: Friday, July 12, 2019

The Word for Today (Friday) is Interpretation.  Interpret Education?  [or]  Teaching about Interpretation?  On the second one, Interpretation is a good Topic to learn about, whether in a School or not, because it makes a great Career Path for, when you know more than one Language, people can need your Services.

Thursday, July 11, 2019

Word for the Day: Thursday, July 11, 2019

The Word for Today (Thursday) is Socialization.  Please note that both Education and Teaching imply Schools and Universities, both of which are great places to Socialize.  Think about it!  And, since you have "Online Schools", this also goes with other, "electronic" ways to Socialize, such as Twitter and Facebook.  But I've always suggested that "In Person" is a better way to Socialize, in generally, than Online.

Wednesday, July 10, 2019

Word for the Day: Wednesday, July 10, 2019

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Concentration.  A Concentrated Education?  (Dissolve in water?)  But it would be good to say that, when you Concentrate on what you need to accomplish, whether in School, Work, your Relationships, or your own, personal life, things work out better.

Tuesday, July 9, 2019

Word for the Day: Tuesday, July 9, 2019

The Word for Today (Tuesday) is Acceptability.  An Acceptable Education?  Acceptable Teachers?  (Yes to both!)  But the most important Question to be asked, regarding this Word:  "Are you Acceptable to Yourself?"

Monday, July 8, 2019

Word for the Day: Monday, July 8, 2019

The Word for Today (Monday) is Generosity.  Education about Generosity?  (Why not?)  [or]  A Generous Teacher?  (The Best Kind!)  But our Word stands by itself because, in my opinion, Generosity helps the World go around.

Sunday, July 7, 2019

Word for the Day: Sunday, July 7, 2019

The Word for Today (Sunday) is Sharing.  And what  *is*  Education, but a form of Sharing?  In effect, you are Sharing the ability to know more than you knew earlier.  And what could be better than that?

Weekly Themes: Week of July 7-13, 2019

The Themes for this Week are Education and Teaching.  So what  *is*  Education, but a way of Teaching people?  There are plenty of Words, used for this Topic, such as Instruction, Training, and Guidance.  There are Institutions for this, such as Schools and Universities, but we, actually Learn all of the time.  Life is a form of Education.  Think about that.

Saturday, July 6, 2019

Words for the Day: Saturday, July 6, 2019

The Words for Today (Saturday) are Overview and Perspective.  How important are these?  I believe they are absolutely  *crucial*  to Retaining the Subject Material you are learning, because they,  together, give you the  "Executive Summary"  of the Topic itself.  And where would we be, without Perspective?

Friday, July 5, 2019

Word for the Day: Friday, July 5, 2019

The Word for Today (Friday) is Reflection.  Now one version of Reflection  ("Serious thought or consideration")  *absolutely*  helps a person to Retain Subject Matter, in an Academic scenario.  I'll leave anything else to your imagination.

Thursday, July 4, 2019

Word for the Day: Thursday, July 4, 2019

The Word for Today (Thursday) is Study.  Retaining a Study?  (Say what?)  [or]  Studying Retention?  (Is Water Retention normal in a Human Body?)  But it is okay to be Selective about what Topics you Study, because otherwise, you can be overwhelmed!

Wednesday, July 3, 2019

Word for the Day: Wednesday, July 3, 2019

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Absorption.  Do you Retain what you Absorb?  Does a Sponge?  How *does* one learn, via Absorption?  One way, especially for Languages, is Immersion Training.  In effect, you are, quite literally, absorbing what you hear around you.

Tuesday, July 2, 2019

Word for the Day: Tuesday, July 2, 2019

The Word for Today (Tuesday) is Review.  After Yesterday's Experiment comes Today's Review.  How did the Experiment go?  Was it successful?  Did it teach me what I needed to learn?  And, most importantly, will I Retain what I learn?  As you can see, Review is an important tool in Learning, as well as in Life.

Monday, July 1, 2019

Word for the Day: Monday, July 1, 2019

The Word for Today (Monday) is Experimentation.  In an Academic scenario  (i.e. Chemistry or Physics class),  I found, first hand, that actually  *doing*  Experiments helped me to Retain the Class Material  *much*  better than watching demonstrations or films.  And remember that there are  *lots*  of opportunities to Experiment in Life.  (Get's you out of your Comfort Zone too).
