The Word for Today (Sunday) is Stability. And, in my opinion, Survival is easier, in a Stable Environment. And by Stable, I don't mean like the ones on a Farm!  :-)

Weekly Theme: Week of 12/31/2017 to 1/06/2018

The Theme for this Week is Survival.  What does it mean to Survive?  According to Google, it means to "continue to live or exist, especially in spite of danger or hardship".  But is this, really the Goal of Life?  "Only" to Survive?  How about Living Well?  Thriving?  But there is a point:  The prerequisite to Thriving is Survival!

The Word for Today (Saturday) is Release. Manifesting Release? (A bit confusing, perhaps). Something to look for, however, is Release from obstacles, that prevent effective Manifestation. So Release well!

The Word for Today (Friday) is Aspiration. Manifesting Aspiration? [or] Aspiring to Manifest? Both? But what's the most important thing? Aspire to be the very best that you can.

The Word for Today (Thursday) is Contrast. The Contrast, in what we Manifest? [or] Manifesting Contrast? Both? Anyway, keep in mind the balance we wish to maintain, in the Contrast in our Lives: For too little Contrast can get Boring, yet too much Contrast can get Scary!

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Adaptability. So how do you manifest Adaptability? Start by understanding it. A commonly used synonym is Flexibility. And how do you identify flexible, verses inflexible people? Simple: A Flexible person adapts to his/her surroundings. However, the Inflexible person "requests" that his/her Surroundings adapt to him/her!

The Word for Today (Monday) is Acceleration. Accelerated Manifestation? (Sounds good). Manifestation of excessive Acceleration? (Not so good, especially if this is a Motor Vehicle). But I certainly suggest Manifesting Accelerated Fun, based on the Holiday Season we are in right now!

The Words for Today (Sunday) are Patience and Tolerance. It takes Patience to get around things, that go against effective Manifestation, such as Conflicting Beliefs. And it take Tolerance to get past some of the Hilarious Mishaps, that occur when attempting to Manifest. And, above all, Manifest a Merry Christmas!

The Theme for this Week is Manifestation.   So what does it mean to Manifest?  According to Google, it means to "display or show (a quality or feeling) by one's acts or appearance; demonstrate".  Fascinating:  In my "New Age" explorations, I got the idea that it means to "create something out of thin air"!  (Oh well, I guess that when you create, either an object or quality [such as Peace on Earth], you are "demonstrating" it?)  Anyway, let's see how this goes with the Words for this Week.

The Word for Today (Saturday) is Acknowledgement. Acknowledge your Patrons, businesses! They're what's keeping you going. And yes, it can work in both directions: Acknowledge the Businesses that treat you the best.

The Word for Today is Kindness. And, yes, be Kind to your Patrons, all you Organizations. And, likewise, be Kind to the places that you Patronize. For example, if there is an issue at the company level, don't take it out on the "line staff". They have little position power in the company, and may not even be aware of the reasons for the issue you are dealing with. Above all, just be Kind.

The Word for Today (Thursday) is Encouragement. Organizations, encourage your Patrons. Likewise, this is a good time for any of you to Encourage the businesses and organizations you Patronize. One personal example: I use this time, to donate to my local, Public Library.

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Thoughtfulness. Like yesterday, this works in both directions. The Patron needs to be Thoughtful to the Companies and/or Organizations he/she Patronizes. Likewise, Companies do well to be Thoughtful to their Patrons (or Regulars). Think, before you speak or act!

The Word for Today (Tuesday) is Support. This works in both directions, as it is both good for Patrons to add a bit of extra Support for the Businesses or Organizations every so often (like, perhaps, once every 7 weeks, which is how long, between these Words coming back). But I said both directions: Businesses and Organizations, Support your Patrons. Let them know you appreciate them! Simple.

The Word for Today (Monday) is Comfort.  Let me tell you something:  I tend to Patronize businesses that include Comfort as one of their ideals. For example, restaurants with comfortable chairs. I recently visited a Coffee House, that had, only stools to sit on, with no back support.  I submitted a review of the place, and don't plan on a followup visit.  Comfort matters!

The Word for Today (Sunday) is Nourishment. And what better place to be a Patron of, than a Restaurant serving Nourishing food? If that food is also delicious, so much better!

The Theme for this Week is Patronage.  What does it mean, to be a Patron?  According to Google's 2nd Definition, a Patron is "a customer, especially a regular one, of a store, restaurant, or theater".  (These days, you are typically called "a Regular").  One of my favorite synonyms is "Supporter", which will become especially important on Tuesday.

The Word for Today (Saturday) is Prosperity. Ethical Prosperity? (I most certainly *Hope* so!) In fact, if you are in contact with Police Officers, who notice a lot of Cash, and they believe the Cash was acquired, via a crime, the cash will, most likely be Confiscated. The lesson here, is that "Unethical Prosperity" often doesn't last. So be Ethical *and* Prosperous!

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Impartiality. I suspect that, either an Impartial set of principles, or an impartial code of ethics would be unlikely. However, either of the above, could easily include suggestions that you will strive to behave in an impartial manner. And have impartial fun!

The Word for Today (Tuesday) is Consequence. Are there Consequences, to having your own set of Principles, or Code of Ethics? Of course. But I suggest that, there could be even worse consequences, if you refuse to take responsibility for your own Principles and Ethics. Why do I take a stand on this? Because only you can live your life. So live it well!

The Word for Today (Monday) is Elimination. Elimination of Ethics? (Please don't!) But elimination of, what stands in the *way* of a good set of Principles, or a personal Code of Ethics makes good sense. And, above all, have fun.

The Word for Today (Sunday) is Self-Reliance. A Self-Reliant set of Principles and/or Code of Ethics? Why not? It's your life. You are responsible for it, in the end. But developing your own, rather than relying on what others tell you can be quite a challenge. (And you might even experience disagreement, from those around you, like I did). Good luck!

The Themes for this Week are Principles and Ethics.  Principle?  Google gives you a mouthful:  "a fundamental truth or proposition that serves as the foundation for a system of belief or behavior or for a chain of reasoning".  How about Ethics?  "moral principles that govern a person's behavior or the conducting of an activity".  "Moral Principles"?  So Ethics "include" Principles, but not the other way around.  (Interesting!)  Now how will these Themes relate to the Words for this Week?  Let's find out.

The Word for Today (Saturday) is Expansion. Salvaging Expansion? (A bit confusing). [or] Expanded Salvation? (Maybe). But Spiritual Expansion could be *part* of your Salvation experience. But be selective, in what you Expand. For an expanded middle of the Human Body, due to excessive food, can get uncomfortable.

The Words for Today (Friday) are Trust and Faith. So do we Salvage Trust? (Like, for example, if it were violated)? And how about having Faith in our Salvation? The first one can be quite difficult, as we see in the news, especially in the United States. For Violated Trust can lose Friends, your Career, and even your Freedom, if a crime was committed. Be careful!

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Equality. Salvaging Equality? [or] An Equal Salvation? (I tried). There's two kinds of Equality: Equal Opportunity, and Forced Conformity, both of which have been in the News. (For example, should people be coerced to behave "equally", when the US National Anthem is sung?) But Salvaging Equal Opportunity for All could be a good step to take.

These Words and Themes cycle through, in a predictable way, yet I've missed, for a while a wonderful connection: Today appears to be a good day for Defense Attorneys. If you are accused of a Crime, your Defense Attorney is a person you need to work with, as well as you can, to have the best chance of Salvaging Innocence from the trial. And if you *are* a Defense Attorney, consider this your day.

The Word for Today (Sunday) is Forgiveness. Are you Salvaged, so you can be Forgiven? [or] Does Forgiveness lead to "Eternal Salvation"? I'm not completely sure on either one, but they sound good.

Weekly Themes: Week of December 3-9, 2017

The Themes for this Week are Salvage and Salvation.  These are similar, yet different at the same time.  Similar, as both of them "save" something.  But different in their contexts.  Salvage, for example is used frequently in contexts, such as, "we salvaged that old ship, mainly for the value of the metals in the hull".  Salvation, however, often has a Religious Context where, what is being "saved" is your very Soul!  Let's see how this relates to the Words of this Week.

The Word for Today (Saturday) is Authenticity. An Authentic Addiction? (Now *That* would be a "Certificate of Authenticity" I'd Love to see!) But, in my opinion, the best thing, is for *You* to be Authentic. It might even make it easier to overcome any Addictions you are challenged with.

The Word for Today (Friday) is Interpretation. So how *would* one Interpret an Addiction? (Very Carefully, I would hope!) For example, what "benefits" do you "think" the Addiction gives you? What Side Effects are caused by it? How Difficult is the Addiction to Overcome? Look carefully, as your Life may Depend on it!
