Word for the Day: Wednesday, November 30, 2016

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Adaptability. A synonym of this is Flexibility, and I consider a Flexible Prophecy to be the best kind. (I've said this before, but consider it worth repeating: "A Flexible person adapts to his/her surroundings. An Inflexible person 'requests' that his/her surroundings adapt to him/her"!)

Words for the Day: Tuesday, November 29, 2016

The Words for Today (Tuesday) are Agility and Grace. An Agile Prophecy about Grace? Why not? And if you are looking for tools, for developing agility and grace, I recommend Yoga.

Monday, November 28, 2016

Word for the Day: Monday, November 28, 2016

The Word for Today (Monday) is Acceleration. Prophecies about Acceleration? Accelerated Prophecy? Both? Well, I can make a "prophecy": If you accelerate in an excessive manner, say in a motor vehicle, you may not like the results!

Sunday, November 27, 2016

Words for the Day: Sunday, November 27, 2016

The Words for Today (Sunday) are Patience and Tolerance. And, especially with philosophies, dealing with multiple "versions" of events, you need patience, to cut through all of this, to find what is "most likely" to occur, and to describe it to others. In addition, you need to tolerate the "versions" of events, which *do* show up in your life.

Weekly Theme: Week of 11/27 - 12/03/2016

The Theme for this Week is Prophecy.  So what is a Prophecy?  Google simply calls it, "a Prediction".  But note that I, when I began this post, misspelled it to "Prophesy", a verb, which means to "say that (a specified thing) will happen in the future".  Now, in the Michael Teachings, as well as the Seth Material and versions of Quantum Physics, what is the Prophecy?  Just one version of the intending "future event".  For how can you prophesy "the" future event, if there are multiple versions of it?  (And how does it look, to those who do not "believe" any of these "multiple world" models?  Simply, that the prophecy was wrong!)

Word for the Day: Saturday, November 26, 2016

The Word for Today (Saturday) is Acknowledgement. To conclude this week's Theme, Acknowledge those, who help you to compensate for any disabilities, whether small or large, that you may contend with. (No disabilities? Then your "disability" is being too "ordinary". LOL!) One final comment: It takes knowledge to acknowledge.

Friday, November 25, 2016

Word for the Day: Friday, November 25, 2016

The Word for Today (Friday) is Kindness. And of course, we need to be Kind to people, who are challenged with disabilities. But don't stop there: Be kind to all of those around you, in whatever way is appropriate (even to "small things" like, for example, making it easier for somebody to walk past you, on the sidewalk).

Thursday, November 24, 2016

Word for the Day: Thursday, November 24, 2016

The Word for Today (Thursday) is Encouragement. Encouraging Disabilities? No! (People have enough problems with the different kinds of disabilities *without* encouragement!) However, we *can* encourage people, with disabilities to create the best lives they can for themselves (whether it's by "overcoming" the disability, which certainly is possible in many cases, or simply compensating, by concentrating on what *does* work, in his/her life).

Wednesday, November 23, 2016

Word for the Day: Wednesday, November 23, 2016

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Thoughtfulness. And yes, it's always good to be thoughtful to those, who are challenged by disabilities. So what does that mean? In some cases, it simply means treating him/her as a normal human being, instead of concentrating on, what makes him/her different! That said, thoughtfulness in general (which simply means thinking, before speaking and/or acting) is a good trait to show in the world.

Tuesday, November 22, 2016

Word for the Day: Tuesday, November 22, 2016

The Word for Today (Tuesday) is Support. Disabled Support? (Hope not). Supporting Disability? (Also no). Supporting people, as well as organizations, regarding Disabilities? Yes. Depending on the disability, some people literally cannot get around, without a Support Network. And, if you join the network for other people, you may be surprised, to find your own Support Networks. (Funny how that works!)

Monday, November 21, 2016

Word for the Day: Monday, November 21, 2016

The Word for Today (Monday) is Comfort. A Comfortable Disability? Be careful, because those two words don't usually mix well. Providing Comfort for those, with Disabilities? Certainly! It should be the foundation of care givers, to provide comfort to people under their care.

Sunday, November 20, 2016

Word for the Day: Sunday, November 20, 2016

The Word for Today (Sunday) is Nourishment. Disabled Nourishment? (Well, I guess some might consider the inability to cook food, a disability). But what I believe is better, is GOOD Nourishment, for people, with disabilities. (And in some cases, a poor diet might have even BEEN the cause of the disability, and getting "proper Nourishment" might counter it!)

Weekly Theme: Week of November 20-26, 2016

The Theme for this Week is Disability.  So what's a disability?  According to Google, it's "a physical or mental condition that limits a person's movements, senses, or activities".  One thing to note, is how many ways, people report being disabled.  Usually, people think of it, from the point of view of what prevents a person from being gainfully employed.  So, does that mean that "laziness" is a disability?  :-)

Life on Earth, includes a concept that people "usually" agree on, at least in some form or another, known as Time.  But there are enough issues with Time, that there is a surprisingly involved Wikipedia Article on it!  But my point, before I spent "time" reading Wikipedia, was that Life on Earth includes "looking and feeling" different, depending on how many years have passed, since your birth.  Until we learn to competently time travel, there are two things people on Earth typically "look forward to":  "Getting old", and, eventually "Dying".  Getting back to our topic, dying is a special type of Disability.  Like for example, how gainfully employed would a dead person expect to be? But "getting old" is a different story, because different people age in different ways.  One example, of people not considering themselves disabled, just because they are old, comes from an article, about Elderly People, running in the Boston Marathon.

So I leave it here.  Comments are welcome.

Word for the Day: Saturday, November 19, 2016

The Word for Today (Saturday) is Prosperity. And, in my opinion, Diplomacy can, if approached correctly, be quite a Prosperous Career: Not only can the job itself be interesting, but the function is quite important, as I've been sharing, through this week.

Friday, November 18, 2016

Word for the Day: Friday, November 18, 2016

The Word for Today (Friday) is Liberation. Diplomacy, to Liberate oneself (say, from war)? Or Liberation FROM Diplomacy? (I hope not!) I like the first one, because Diplomacy *can* be a tool, to "liberate" yourself from some kinds of issues. (It's often called, "talking yourself out of trouble").

Thursday, November 17, 2016

Word for the Day: Thursday, November 17, 2016

The Word for Today (Thursday) is Wisdom. And yes, a Wise Diplomat is the best kind!

So how does one develop Wisdom? Good study, including reading of "good books", as well as the attendance of great "Weekend Workshops" make a significant difference, but don't forget that much of the Wisdom, anybody develops, comes from Cold, Hard Life Experience. There are no shortcuts, my friends!

Wednesday, November 16, 2016

Word for the Day: Wednesday, November 16, 2016

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Impartiality. An Impartial Diplomat? That would, of course, be the best kind, in the long run. However, we are human, with our own opinions, so "pure impartiality" is out of the question. So what *can* one do, who is preparing for a career, in the Diplomatic Corps? Go as far as is practical, of course, while being pragmatic (especially when determining which countries you might be interested in, to become a diplomat. For example, if you plan to mediate a civil war, make sure you come from a background, that is respected by both sides).

Tuesday, November 15, 2016

Word for the Day: Tuesday, November 15, 2016

The Word for Today (Tuesday) is Consequence. Are there consequences to Diplomacy? Certainly, but there also are consequences, to the *Absence* of Diplomacy! And I'll leave it to you, to figure out which consequences are more severe.

Monday, November 14, 2016

Word for the Day: Monday, November 14, 2016

The Word for Today (Monday) is Elimination. Eliminate Diplomacy? Please no! But you can certainly eliminate things, which stand in the way of Diplomacy, such as war.

Sunday, November 13, 2016

Word for the Day: Sunday, November 13, 2016

The Word for Today (Sunday) is Self-Reliance. Since a Diplomat often acts, by him/herself, self-reliance is a wonderful trait to have. Not the only one, of course; I consider the ability to listen important, as well. But don't always expect help from outside, when busy on an assignment.

Weekly Theme: Week of November 13-19, 2016

The Theme for this Week is Diplomacy.  Now, three weeks ago, we had Mediation as a Theme.  What's the difference?  This is interesting:  When I put "diplomacy vs mediation" into Google, it doesn't like it, preferring "diplomacy AND mediation"!  When we take them individually, we get "the profession ... of managing international relations", for Diplomacy, yet "intervention in a dispute in order to resolve it", for Mediation.  In other words, similar, but not the same.  (Another way of looking at it:  Diplomacy is about the person, taking the action, whereas Mediation deals with the action being taken).

That said, both Themes denote careers, that make sense.

Saturday, November 12, 2016

Word for the Day: Saturday, November 12, 2016

The Word for Today (Saturday) is Expansion. Expanded Dialogue? If it means better communication (which Intercourse also means, above all), this can be beneficial to a relationship. But watch out for today's word, because excessive Expansion, around the middle of the human body (say, due to eating lots of delicious food), can wind up feeling (as well as looking) bad.

Friday, November 11, 2016

Word for the day: Friday. November 11, 2016

he Words for today (Friday) are Trust and Faith. These are extremely important Words. Never forget that Trust must be earned, and can be breached. And faith must never be blind! We still have the Universe to trust, and we can have faith, that our Earth will still be here tomorrow morning.

Thursday, November 10, 2016

Word for the Day: Thursday, November 10, 2016

The Word for Today (Thursday) is Gratitude. Now this might be, "just a tad bit harder" to find, at this time, after a "United States Mass Event" last Tuesday. But what I am thankful for, is the *Insight* I have received, regarding the details, of that Mass Event. In fact, expect a post, on another BLOG, with Analysis of that event, from the point of view of a major "Reality Split".

Wednesday, November 9, 2016

Word for the Day: Wednesday, November 9, 2016

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Equality. Equal Dialogue? The only kind to have, in my opinion. But be careful of a different meaning of Equality: Forced Conformity. Careful dialogue might be the answer to all of this, by the way.

Tuesday, November 8, 2016

Word for the Day: Tuesday, November 8, 2016

The Word for Today (Tuesday) is Prudence. First off, what a wonderful Word to have, on an Election day! Also (shades of yesterday), Prudent dialogue makes for excellent Intercourse, whether Social, Sexual, or whatever other word usages exist.

Monday, November 7, 2016

Word for the Day: Monday, November 7, 2016

The Word for Today (Monday) is Innocence. Innocent Dialogue? That then turns into Intercourse? Isn't *that* the story of many people's lives? So this particular week may have some "pitfalls", for those, who are run, by their hormones. Be careful to put balance into your life.

Sunday, November 6, 2016

Word for the Day: Sunday, November 6, 2016

The Word for Today (Sunday) is Forgiveness. So, do we ask forgiveness, if we DO, or do NOT communicate well? Because that's all that these Themes really mean. Just be careful, folks, because some "statements" are hard to take back!

Weekly Themes: Week of November 6-12, 2016

The Themes for this Week are Intercourse and Dialogue.  Now, just about anybody could hold a dialogue, with another person.  But it takes a special sort of relationship, before "Intercourse" is a "dialogue technique"  But before we close down this topic, perhaps, we should take a gander at, what Google thinks, of a topic, called "Social Intercourse".  Because this is a place, where online definitions fall a bit short.  They get the "Communication" part okay, but what sort of communication?  The kind you would expect, in an Orgy?  Regardless of all of "this", may all of your Dialogues be constructive ones.

Saturday, November 5, 2016

Word for the Day: Saturday, November 5, 2016

The Word for Today (Friday) is Authenticity. So, do the jokes you say, come with Certificates of Authenticity? What would that entail, anyway? Does the joke come from your heart? Does it show off your *own* authentic self? Or is it something, that can easily be looked up, on Google, showing that it is authentic *for* *someone* *else*? Now, all that said, does your *body* come with a Certificate of Authenticity?

Friday, November 4, 2016

Word for the Day: Friday, November 4, 2016

The Word for Today (Friday) is Interpretation. So how *do* you interpret humor? If you figure that out, you might well become rich and famous! And yes, there could be something, in the other direction, where people joke about interpreters, especially ones that do the job poorly. (For example, have you ever had to assemble a bicycle? How about with instructions, translated from Chinese or Japanese?)

Thursday, November 3, 2016

Word for the Day: Thursday, November 3, 2016

The Word for Today (Thursday) is Socialization. Humorous Socialization? Or how about Socialization, in the NAME of Humor? And yes, Comedy Clubs are great places, to get together and socialize!

Wednesday, November 2, 2016

Word for the Day: Wednesday, November 2, 2016

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Concentration. Concentrating on Humor? Or Concentrated Humor? (Just add water!) Both could work, and I hope all of you have pleasant, and friendly encounters.

Tuesday, November 1, 2016

Word for the Day: Tuesday, November 1, 2016

The Word for Today (Tuesday) is Acceptability. Humor about being acceptable? Or Acceptable Humor? In my opinion, there is something, that could be called, "unacceptable humor", in particular "humor" (in quotes) that denigrates other people. Unfortunately, the 2016 US Election season seems to have brought some of that "humor" out, into the open. And, above all, be acceptable to yourself!
