An Apology, as Well as a Bit of Catching Up.

Hello folks,

I just had a "mini-burnout" between my "day job" (computer professional), my Essence level, and my Personality level. I believe I am through it, making it to the other side, but there is a bit of cleaning up to do, including catching up on the Michael Transits.

I will go ahead and enter the missing Words, as well as the Theme, in their proper order, as I've been doing all along, but it may take me multiple days to catch up, because I will not tolerate "expediency", at the expense of clarity.

However, that said, later on in this BLOG post, to help get you people started, I will state what those words are, without definitions, even going a bit farther than the current day. That will give you a chance to look at what those words mean to you, before reading the definitions that I provide.

I'm currently working on a "Calendar" for my Universe, which could become, say, a "Wall Calendar" (online, as well as on paper), showing the Seven "Michael Months". I haven't found "Month Names I like yet, but the original Michael terms for these, which they call a "Block" will do for now.

This current "Lessor Year", corresponding with the Energy or Beauty side of the Michael Chart began with a Server energy month, starting Sunday, September 14, and ending Saturday, November 1, 2008. The month with the Artisan flavor began on Sunday, November 2, and ended on Saturday, December 20, 2008. The current Michael Month has a distinct Warrior feel to it, and began on Sunday, December 21, 2008. It is set to complete on Saturday, February 7, 2009.

Continuing forward in time, the fourth "Michael Month" has the flavor (if not necessarily my final name) of Scholar (Sunday, February 8, through Saturday, March 28, 2009). And then Sage (Sunday, March 29, through Saturday, May 16, 2009), Priest (Sunday, May 17, through Saturday, July 4, 2009. Hmmm... Priest/King/King falls on Independence Day this year? Wow!) And finally, King (Sunday, July 5, through Saturday, August 22, 2009).

Since, as I noted above, this "Lesser Year" corresponds to the Energy or Beauty side of the Michael Chart, it ends the three-part "Greater Year", that began with the Truth side (Start date to be determined, but ending with Saturday, October 6, 2007), and the Love side (Sunday, October 7, 2007 through Saturday, September 13, 2008). Note the pattern here: I envision a Lesser Michael Year to be Seven Months, each consisting of Seven Weeks, thus 343 days. A Greater Michael Year, the next of which begins on Sunday, August 23, 2009, consists of three Lessor Years, or 1029 days.

I am fully aware of the fact that My calendar is either 22 or 23 days under our normal Solar Calendar. Therefore, if I were to offer this at some future date (I don't know -- perhaps, when Earth is ready to move into Old Soul Consciousness, from Mature Soul Consciousness), it might be arranged, such that there was a special "vacation time", either between "Michael Months", or, perhaps, a longer "vacation period" between "Lesser Michael Years". (I started saying "vacation days", but we would need to be careful, as I truly feel different energies on different days of the week, which correlate to the energy of the Michael Roles (for example, Saturdays are such busy days, with people going all out, but, at about 3 am on many a Sunday morning, I'll find everything silent, as people, perhaps, begin to prepare for their next week. And, of course, there is that thing called a "Hangover", often occurring more on Sundays than other days of the week, for the Alcoholically inclined).

The Michael Entity often points out Nexus points in our upcoming months (say, in Monthly Forecast tapes, emails, or, say, BLOG posts). I have twelve of them that are natural: Any time all three energies are of the same Role. For this Michael Year, the ones that have already occurred (so you can check what you experienced that day) are Server/Server/Server on Sunday, September 14, 2008, Artisan/Artisan/Artisan on Monday, November 10, 2008, and Warrior/Warrior/Warrior on Tuesday, January 6, 2009. The next one will be Triple Scholar on Wednesday, March 4, 2009.

As I stated at the beginning of this entry, I'll state the words in this post without definitions, and then post the definitions, as I complete my recovery. I'll then endeavor to get back on schedule going forward.

We left off with Thursday, January 22, 2009, Socialization. Completing that week, Friday, January 23 was Interpretation, and Saturday, January 24 was Authenticity.

The week we are in right now (1/25-1/31/2009) has a Priest feel to it, with the theme of Usefulness. Sunday's word is Forgiveness. Monday = Innocence, Tuesday = Prudence, Wednesday = Equality, Thursday = Gratitude, Friday = Trust and Faith, and Saturday = Expansion.

I'll close by giving next week's Theme, which is Strategy. Think about that. And I'll intend to be back in my "groove" as soon as I can.

Thank you.

Word for the Day for Thursday, January 22, 2009

The Word for Today is Socialization.

First, social animals (and hope that the ones you personally know are friendly ones). Second, we discuss Socialism, which often gets a bad rap. Third is what I've been recently doing, with a couple of positive pole definitions.

I'll need a new approach. Oh well. Here's a different Google Search than last time, giving some Socialization phrases, such as "the socialization of medical services", which I firmly believe this country badly needs, based on how many are currently uninsured, including me! (And, oh, how painful that can be, in many ways!)

Word for the Day for Wednesday, January 21, 2009

The Word for Today is Concentration.

First a game show. Then a charge to my readers. Finally, a look at, perhaps, the Darkest Side possible of Concentration.

Today, once again from Google, the definition I believe Michael might have had in mind, "complete attention; intense mental effort".

Word for the Day for Tuesday, January 20, 2009

The Word for Today is Acceptability.

First I asked you if you feel acceptable. Then I, in effect, put the very same question to the Bush Administration. (They haven't given me an answer yet). Finally, I equated Acceptability to Approval.

This time, I want to take a second look at the web definitions, particularly the Wordnet contribution, "satisfactoriness by virtue of conforming to approved standards".

I hear people complaining about how hard it is to be accepted in the world. The above definition suggests that it might not be as hard as it seems.

Word for the Day for Monday, January 19, 2009

The Word for Today is Generosity.

First, a paradox, next willingness, or lack thereof, and finally, a most fascinating Wikipedia article that suggests, among other things, that a drug, Oxytocin, can "increase" a person's Generosity! Oh boy! How in the world did I miss that, last time around?

I firmly believe that Generosity can not be legislated or instilled via a drug, but has to be by one's own free will.

Word for the Day for Sunday, January 18, 2009

The Word for Today is Sharing.

First, I just said to "share your gifts". Then, second time through, I actually took on the word, but without any links. However, third time was like the first, with a simple suggestion to Share.

This time, I go to the Web, finding, with the usual types of definitions, a number of phrases at the top of the screen that include "sharing" in them. For example, "cost sharing", "file sharing", "profit sharing", and "time sharing".

What do you think of, when you think of the word, Sharing?

Weekly Themes for Week of January 18-24, 2009

The Themes for this week are Economy and Practicality.

Economy happens to be an interesting topic these days. How are you financially? What is the state of our Country's Economy? Yes, there are challenges to face and problems to solve. This theme, of course, continues way beyond this week.

As for Practicality, I go to the web for a bit of help. One that I like is being "concerned with actual use rather than theoretical possibilities".

I invite feedback.

Words for the Day for Saturday, January 17, 2009

The Words for Today are Overview and Perspective.

First, an "executive summary". Second, about writing and then reading. Third, the web definitions, including going to Shakespeare for Overview, and Optical Illusions for Perspective.

What in the world do I do for the fourth time through? I knew I'd eventually get here.

Let me remind you of a link I provided you last Sunday, when I shared the Weekly Theme. This time, I wish to point out that today's words correspond to the "Community Responsibility" that I took on, when I began my series of lifetimes on this particular, and most interesting planet that we call Earth.

Word for the Day for Friday, January 16, 2009

The Word for Today is Reflection.

I have plenty to reflect on today, such as an unusual news story yesterday, regarding US Air Flight 1549.

My prior experience of Reflection, seven weeks ago, marked the first time I went to a Third Time with the word. Now, I need to contend with the fourth expression of the word. This could, of course, get somewhat cumbersome.

So today, I will allow myself to be shaken up with unusual, as well as multidimensional expressions of reality, and give myself time for Reflection.

Thank you very much for your understanding.

Word for the Day for Thursday, January 15, 2009

The Word for Today is Study.

First, I suggest discrimination, and then I debate whether Study is a noun or a verb.

This time, let's take another look at the web. Hey, I found one that ties into yesterdays word: "a state of deep mental absorption".

Have fun!

Wednesday, January 14, 2009

Word for the Day for Wednesday, January 14, 2009

The Word for Today is Absorption.

The first time through, I compared humans to plants. Then I compare Absorption to the Michael Teaching's neutral concept of Assimilation.

What now? The web? The definition that frequently defines me is "the mental state of being preoccupied by something". That, as well as Concentration, is what I suspect that the Michael Teachings had in mind for this word.

Tuesday, January 13, 2009

Word for the Day for Tuesday, January 13, 2009

The Word for Today is Review.

First, it was Scalability, as if Review was a computer operating system. Then, seven weeks later,it was four one word synonyms from Wordnet, two nouns and two verbs.

Today, I go back to the web, but for more detailed definitions, such as "an essay or article that gives a critical evaluation", or "reappraisal: a new appraisal or evaluation".

Once again, I firmly believe that regular review of where you have gone, so far in your life, will make the Life Review easier, when you die.

Monday, January 12, 2009

Word for the Day for Monday, January 12, 2009

The Word for Today is Experimentation.

First was a fable, where my experiment caused my father a significant, financial consequence. Then,I get into an argument with Wikipedia, of all things!

This time, let's let others have their say: "We define experimentation in three tiers: discovery, hypothesis testing and demonstration".

Sunday, January 11, 2009

Word for the Day for Sunday, January 11, 2009

The Word for Today is Recognition.

I first compared this word to Acknowledgment (which last came up Saturday, December 27th). Then, the second time through, I went into Deja Vu, which I called a "special type of Recognition".

Time for the Web: Approval? Realization? What do you think when you think of Recognition?

Weekly Theme for Week of January 11-17, 2009

The Theme for this Week is Organization.

The Web has quite a bit to say, including two that are completely different: "a group of people who work together", and "arrangement: an organized structure for arranging or classifying". Can you see the difference between these two?

Note that the "Weekly Theme" that I use here corresponds exactly to the Michael concept of a Global Job. My suspicion is that, as a "Global Job", it is the second of the above web definitions that the Michael Teachings is referring to.

Saturday, January 10, 2009

Word for the Day for Saturday, January 10, 2009

The Word for Today is Resolve.

First, it was positive (i.e. New Year's "Resolutions") and negative (i.e. Bush telling us to keep our "Resolve" in an illegal Iraq war) uses of the word. Then, second time through, I honored one of the common links Google gives me when I ask it for definitions.

That link Google gave me last time was Wordnet at Princeton (unfortunately down tonight), which actually gave me some wonderful definitions today, such as, "resolution: a formal expression by a meeting; agreed to by a vote", and "conclude: reach a conclusion after a discussion or deliberation".

Have you made your New Year's Resolutions yet this year?

Friday, January 9, 2009

Word for the Day for Friday, January 9, 2009

The Word for Today is Courage.

First, it's Wizard of Oz. Then, I write a book about "Standing Up for Myself".

How can I possibly improve on that besides web definitions? One I like: "a quality of spirit that enables you to face danger or pain without showing fear", as it allows for the actual feeling of fear, just stating what you do with it afterwords.

Thursday, January 8, 2009

Words for the Day for Thursday, January 8, 2009

The Words for Today are Strength and Empowerment.

First, I asked you, as if expecting an answer. :-) Then, I put forth some definitions, but flat out refused to provide you with the web links. How very rude of me...

This time, I provide web links for both Strength and Empowerment.

I can not stress how important it is for you to find both of these for yourself!

Wednesday, January 7, 2009

Word for the Day for Wednesday, January 7, 2009

The Word for Today is Competence.

A comedy of errors, it seems. First time through, I missed the day completely, and the second time through,it was the Peter Principle.

The web has its own ideas about this word, including, "the quality of being adequately or well qualified physically and intellectually". (Hmmm... Doesn't include emotionally).

Do you feel competent?

Tuesday, January 6, 2009

Word for the Day for Tuesday, January 6, 2009

The Word for Today is Endurance.

First, the economic meltdown. Then, seven weeks later, we are still enduring this economic meltdown.

So here we are, a triple Warrior Transit (month, week and day), and what is going on? Still, this economic meltdown! How much endurance does this country need?

Keep a sense of humor, folks. That's all we got left!

Monday, January 5, 2009

Word for the Day for Monday, January 5, 2009

The Word for Today is Fertility.

First, a couple of literal meanings. Second time, I went to the web, finding Fecundity and Rankness.

Today, I also go to the web, but wider, drawing out Birthrate, but also discussions of Infertility, which lots of families agonize over.

Physical reproduction. Fertility of ideas. Birthrate. Infertility. What does Fertility mean to you?

Sunday, January 4, 2009

Word for the Day for Sunday, January 4, 2009

The Word for Today is Stability.

Like the first time I posted this word, we, as a country, are not stable! When I encountered this word the second time, I mentioned the Michael need of Security.

The web has suggestions, such as, "the quality or attribute of being firm and steadfast".

Yes, stability, as in a firm foundation to build your dream on.

Weekly Theme for Week of January 4-10, 2009

The Theme for this Week is Protection.

The duty of the Police Officer is "to Protect and to Serve". This matches the Warrior Month/Block, as well as this being a Warrior themed week.

What do we need protection from? Unfortunately, the answer can even be ourselves! We generally cause our own misfortunes, based on the choices we make. But the good news is that we also cause our own successes.

The web gives several definitions, including security and auspices. What do you think?

Saturday, January 3, 2009

Word for the Day for Saturday, January 3, 2009

The Word for Today is Release.

The first time around was actually the end of a rather harrowing week for me. The next time around, I tried my own hand at definitions.

This time, let's see what others say about it. "Merchandise issued for sale or public showing (especially a record or film)".

Somehow, I don't think this one fits as well. What do you think?

Friday, January 2, 2009

Word for the Day for Friday, January 2, 2009

The Word for Today is Aspiration.

First time, a charge. Then a medical definition (Ouch!)

This time, let's look at the Web: "a will to succeed", or, "ambition: a cherished desire".

I couldn't say it better.

Thursday, January 1, 2009

Word for the Day for Thursday, January 1, 2009

The Word for Today is Contrast.

First, I went to politics. Then I dropped the ball.

This time I go to the web, getting things like "the act of distinguishing by comparing differences". Need we say more?
