Word for the Day: Tuesday, February 28, 2017

The Word for Today (Tuesday) is Support. Now *this* Word is a bit "broad", in its meaning. Anything from "wearing a Support Bra", to "having a Support Group". (Regarding this last one, it's not only important to find your *own* Support Group, but to also find the Groups that *you* belong to. Talk about Service!)

Word for the Day: Monday, February 27, 2017

The Word for Today (Monday) is Comfort. "Performing Service in Comfort"? (It doesn't have to be, like in those movies, you know!) [or] "The Service of Providing Comfort". (The "Sleep Number Bed" commercials come to mind here. The Hotel Industry also seems to fit). Anyway, be comfortable.

Word for the Day: Sunday, February 26, 2017

The Word for Today (Sunday) is Nourishment. And what better Service, than to provide good Nourishment to someone else? And even better, if it is delicious as well. (I'm getting hungry, just typing this!)

Weekly Theme: Week of 2/26 to 3/04/2017

The Theme for this Week is Service.  So what does it mean to be of Service?  Well, throwing "define service" at Google gives, as it's first definition, "the action of helping or doing work for someone".  Okay.  But if I continue reading, "Service" has quite a few meanings (and, if I may, "connotations, above and beyond what I found on Google".  For example, I've heard people questioning if "true service" includes "trading your skills for a paycheck", as if the only "real service" has to be "freely given".  Please note that I don't agree with this!)

Back to Google:  Service can be a noun or a verb.  Check it out!

Word for the Day: Saturday, February 25, 2017

The Word for Today (Saturday) is Prosperity. Prosperity, coming from Completion? (Like completing a Project? Well, that's when it would be more likely to contribute to Prosperity). [or] Complete Prosperity? (as opposed to Incomplete Prosperity?) In my opinion, life is a Journey, with almost nothing ever in a long-term state of Completion. But, if there's any time *when* things are more likely in Completion, it's in this week.

Friday, February 24, 2017

Word for the Day: Friday, February 24, 2017

The Word for Today (Friday) is Liberation. "Liberation from Completion"? (I don't *think* so. LOL!) [or] "Complete Liberation"? (As opposed to "Incomplete Liberation"? But, at least, this is closer to, what I would consider a "valid question"). So, you want Liberation. From What? Your "Limitations"? What's holding you back from your "highest good"? Prison? (Feel free to Message me, if you are stuck in the Latter!) Good luck!

Thursday, February 23, 2017

Word for the Day: Thursday, February 23, 2017

The Word for Today (Thursday) is Wisdom. Wisdom about Completion? Complete Wisdom? (As opposed to Incomplete Wisdom?) Anyway, remember that Life Experience is where much of Wisdom comes from. Less so, from Book Reading or attendance of weekend seminars, thought they can be important too. Be wise!

Wednesday, February 22, 2017

Word for the Day: Wednesday, February 22, 2017

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Impartiality. "Impartial Completion"? (I'm not even sure what that would look like!) [or] "Complete Impartiality"? Now, *that* is something that has been frequently sought after, but *extremely* hard to achieve. (Especially in the News Industry, where it's often advertised!)

Tuesday, February 21, 2017

Word for the Day: Tuesday, February 21, 2017

The Word for Today (Tuesday) is Consequence. "Complete Consequence"? (As opposed to an Incomplete Consequence? [Whatever *that* might look like!]) [or] "The Consequence of Completion"? Okay, I'll agree that Completing projects might come with a consequence. But I propose that the *failure* to complete a project might come with a more intense consequence (depending on the project, of course!)

Monday, February 20, 2017

Word for the Day: Monday, February 20, 2017

The Word for Today (Monday) is Elimination. Eliminating Completion? (I hope not!) [or] Complete Elimination? (Not much better...) But I *will* entertain the concept of eliminating things, which stand in the way of completing projects. For example, procrastination comes to mind (and has plagued me, multiple times!) Good luck!

Sunday, February 19, 2017

Word for the Day: Sunday, February 19, 2017

The Word for Today (Sunday) is Self-Reliance. Complete Self-Reliance? [or] Self-Reliant Completion? (For example, using your own, independent resources to complete that project?) Second sounds good to me, but remember that we are not "islands unto ourselves", meaning that it's usually okay to ask for help with our projects.

Weekly Theme: Week of February 19-25, 2017

The Theme for this Week is Completion.  Be honest:  How many of you, find it much easier to Begin Projects, than to Complete them?  (Note:  I'm one of them!)  But guess what?  A completed project is usually Much more rewarding, than the anxiety over what to do, regarding an incomplete project!

Saturday, February 18, 2017

Word for the Day: Saturday, February 18, 2017

The Word for Today (Saturday) is Expansion. Expanded Vision? (Those can be Awesome, depending on details!) Vision of Expansion? Well, this one's "Mixed". If the Vision is, say, of the results of Spiritual Expansion, you might even be able to make a Movie out of it. But some kinds of Expansion, such as "unsightly expansion" of parts of the Body, after excessive "enjoyment" of Delicious, yet often unhealthy foods, might, more likely be found as an episode, on some unpleasant "Reality Show" on Television. Take your pick!

Words for the Day: Friday, February 17, 2017

The Words for Today (Friday) are Trust and Faith. I Trust God, and have Faith in the Universe. All others (i.e. Human Beings) need to "take a number", and wait your turn, to be Vetted. See, a Vision of this combination of Words isn't complete, unless that Vision is clear, mainly because Faith must *not* be blind! So who do *you* trust? Thank you.

Thursday, February 16, 2017

Word for the Day: Thursday, February 16, 2017

The Word for Today (Thursday) is Gratitude. To tie this to our Theme, let me say that I am eternally grateful, that I have good enough Vision, to do what I need, in my life. It's not perfect (I am "nearsighted, in my left eye), but I see good enough, to avoid trouble (and have corrective Eyeglasses, for "special occasions", most notably, if I need to drive). What are you Grateful for? Thank you.

Wednesday, February 15, 2017

Word for the Day: Wednesday, February 15, 2017

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Equality. "Vision of Equality"? [or] "Equal Vision"? Now, in the latter case, it might be, as simple as correcting your Vision, so both Eyes see equally. This can be done, either via Eyeglasses or Contact Lenses. I can't give sources right now (since they haven't been "Born Yet". LOL!), but I will suggest that "Lasik Eye Surgery" should be avoided. Why? My sources tell me, that the surgery "calibrates" your Eyes for the Physical Plane *ONLY*, meaning that, from then on, "Vision on Other Planes" is in Jeopardy. For example, when you die, your "Afterlife Vision" will be blurry. Be Careful!

Tuesday, February 14, 2017

Word for the Day: Tuesday, February 14, 2017

The Word for Today (Tuesday) is Prudence. Vision of Prudence? Prudent Vision? Since, according to Google, "Prudent" is, simply, "acting with or showing care and thought for the future", the "Prudent Vision" simply a "Careful and Thoughtful Vision". See, that's not so bad. And yes, you can be Prudent, without winding up being accused of "being a Prude". Have fun, but in a practical way!

Word for the Day: Monday, February 13, 2017

The Word for Yesterday (Monday) was Innocence. Now, was it an "Innocent Error", for me to "forget" to provide Yesterday's Word, [Begin *Ominous* *Voice*]: "Was it Something *Much* *Worse*? [End Ominous Voice]?

The good news? I cheerfully admit to my mistakes, and then "Resolve" to avoid repeating them. Hope your Valentine's Day was Innocently Awesome!

Sunday, February 12, 2017

Word for the Day: Sunday, February 12, 2017

The Word for Today (Sunday) is Forgiveness. Now, one reason someone might say, "Forgive my Vision", would be because it's "not up to par" like, for instance, the person in question bumped into you, because they had trouble seeing you. But hopefully, you won't be in a "situation" where you feel the need to "apologize" for an Inner Vision. Good luck!

Weekly Theme: Week of February 12-18, 2017

The Theme for this Week is Vision.  How good is your Vision?  20/20?  Nearsighted?  Farsighted?  Astigmatism?  This can be an interesting topic, but I don't think it's what is looked for here.  What we've discussed so far, is only the first definition I get from Google:  The second is, "an experience of seeing someone or something in a dream or trance, or as a supernatural apparition".  In effect, this might be discussing some sort of "inner vision".  Obviously, you may wish to be selective, who you describe "Inner Visions" to, especially if you use certain terminology.  For example, if you tell the "wrong person" that you "regularly see hallucinations", you may find yourself in some sort of "Mental Institution"!  But people in the past, found their way into books, such as the Bible, by discussing "Religious Visions".  Go figure!

Saturday, February 11, 2017

Word for the Day: Saturday, February 11, 2017

The Word for Today (Saturday) is Authenticity. "Union of Authentic People" (LOL!) [or] "Authentic Unions"? I guess the question for the second one: "What would make a Union Authentic?" Even some Unions I might not "fully agree with" can be authentic (like some marriages, made up of a couple, who can't be in the same room, without a fight!) Generally, the one person you *most need* to be Authentic to, is yourself!

Friday, February 10, 2017

Word for the Day: Friday, February 10, 2017

The Word for Today (Friday) is Interpretation. Union of Interpreters? (Like, for example, a Labor Union of people, who work as Interpreters?) [or] Interpreting the concept of Unions? Why not? But back to the first part: People who know more than one Language are in demand, as Interpreters. Career Path, anyone?

Word for the Day: Thursday, February 9, 2017

The Word for Today (Thursday) is Socialization. And Unions (whether 2-person Marriages, Labor Unions, or even Unions of Countries) are *Made* to Socialize. Now, what does it mean to Socialize? Should it be "In Person", or does "Facebook Socialization" count? Actually, both are true, because I have a Special Place in my heart, for meeting in person, where we can make Eye Contact, respond interactively when spoken with, and so forth. However, Facebook (and equivalent: Twitter, Google+, etc) allows contact with people we'd never meet otherwise (i.e Someone in the United States, and someone in New Zealand, or someone in London and someone on the International Space Station!)

Wednesday, February 8, 2017

Word for the Day: Wednesday, February 8, 2017

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Concentration. Concentrated Unions? (LOL!) Or Concentration on making Unions work, whether they be personal (marriages), work-related, or even unions of States or Countries? The second sounds better. (By the way, I could not finish the sentence, "Union of Concentrated _____?" Anybody have any thoughts on this? Thanks!)

Word for the Day: Tuesday, February 7, 2017

The Word for Yesterday (Tuesday) was Acceptability. Union, made up with Acceptable people? Acceptable Unions? (As opposed to Unacceptable Unions? This reminds me of the routine part of conventional marriages, where the official asks, "Does anyone have any objections to this Marriage? Speak now, or forever hold your peace!") And, in addition, the question comes up, about "how acceptable" it is, that I missed posting yesterday's Word on time? Oh well. Happens every so often...

Monday, February 6, 2017

Word for the Day: Monday, February 6, 2017

The Word for Today (Monday) is Generosity. A Union of Generous People? (At least, they would be likely to get along with each other!) [or] A Generous Union? (A hypothetical example of this might be a Labor Union that treats, both Management, and Non-Union Workers generously). Come to think of it, these go together pretty well!

Sunday, February 5, 2017

Word for the Day: Sunday, February 5, 2017

The Word for Today (Sunday) is Sharing. Actually, forming a Union, especially a personal one (such as a marriage) is a way to, regularly share, not only your lives with each other, but to share your relationship with your other friends.

Weekly Theme: Week of February 5-11, 2017

The Theme for this Week is Union.  In general, this is a "joining", but there are so many ways that this can work, that the Wikipedia Page is, mainly a "clearing house", to other Wikipedia pages.  For example, two people can "form a Union of Marriage", a group of employees can create a Labor Union, and a group of Countries can join together, like the ones in Europe forming the "European Union".  It is the opposite of Separation.

Saturday, February 4, 2017

Words for the Day: Saturday, February 4, 2017

The Words for Today (Saturday) are Overview and Perspective. An Overview of Integration? Or an Integrated Perspective? Oh well! But Overview and Perspective comes together, to make up the Big Picture view, also known as the Executive Summary (often seen at the beginning of a formal Essay or Report). Good Luck!

Friday, February 3, 2017

Word for the Day: Friday, February 3, 2017

The Word for Today (Friday) is Reflection. Integrated Reflection? (As opposed to a "segregated reflection"? LOL!) Reflecting on Integration is a different animal, altogether. It continues the "study" from yesterday, regarding whether we can get along with each other, even when different. And we see this in the news, where there is controversy in this World, as to how we treat those who, perhaps just because they don't make up the majority of a Country, are treated badly. Resolving this, of course, would be a prerequisite to any thought, of openly being in contact with those, from other Planets!

Thursday, February 2, 2017

Word for the Day: Thursday, February 2, 2017

The Word for Today (Thursday) is Study. Study of Integration? (For example, studying the history of the Integration of Schools in the United States, which includes a Supreme Court Decision, Brown v Board of Education, 1954, stating that School Segregation was Unconstitutional). Or Integrated Study? (Now, I didn't find that, exactly, but I *did* find Integrated Studies, where you "design" your own, custom course of study, with the possibility of getting a Bachelor's Degree). Have fun, folks!

Wednesday, February 1, 2017

Word for the Day: Wednesday, February 1, 2017

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Absorption. Absorbing Integration? [or] Integrating Absorption? (Neither seem to work well today...)

"Learning by Absorption" reminds me of some Science Fiction stories, where we simply "take a pill", before going to bed, and wake up an expert in something! But one "real world" example of "Learning by Absorption" is the "Immersion Training" method of learning another Language. In these classes, the *only* language spoken, is the one being learned.
