Word for the Day: Wednesday, January 31, 2018

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Impartiality. Impartial Completeness? [or] Complete Impartiality? If second, people look for it, for example in our News Teams. However, it's possibly hardest to find there. Why would you wish to develop Impartiality? It helps you, for one, because it encourages, looking at all sides of an Issue. It also helps people to find Balance in their lives.

Word for the Day: Tuesday, January 30, 2018

The Word for Today (Tuesday) is Consequence. Complete Consequence? [or] The Consequence of Completion? Now, if the second one, please note that there are, also Consequences, to *not* completing projects that you are working on. Finally, whatever you do, have fun doing it!

Monday, January 29, 2018

Word for the Day: Monday, January 29, 2018

The Word for Today (Monday) is Elimination. Eliminate Completion? (Please don't!) But Eliminating, what stands in the way of us Completing Projects makes sense. For example, Eliminating (or, at least Limiting) Procrastination can help your life a lot.

Sunday, January 28, 2018

Word for the Day: Sunday, January 28, 2018

The Word for Today (Sunday) is Self-Reliance. Self-Reliant Completion? [or] Complete Self-Reliance? One thing I have found, over the years: Self-Reliance is a good trait to develop, but don't forget that there are others around us, who can often provide assistance. And it works both ways, as we can also assist others.

Weekly Theme: Week of 01/28 - 02/03/2018

The Theme for this Week is Completion.  What does it mean to Complete something?  For example, I have been a Computer Professional for over four decades.  Often, when I "thought" I had completed a development, or maintenance project, I found out (and was occasionally surprised to find) that the Project wasn't really complete, until the Paperwork (including Documentation on how to use it) was done!  Now a question to my readers:  Have you noticed, that Projects are often easier Started, than Completed?

Saturday, January 27, 2018

Word for the Day: Saturday, January 27, 2018

The Word for Today (Saturday) is Expansion. Expanded Vision? [or] A Vision of Expansion? (Actually, both sounds good to me). Let's look at the first one a bit more: If you want to "Expand" your Physical Vision, you often go to an Optometrist, to get your Eyes checked, so you can get Glasses, Contact Lenses, or even (more recently), submit to Lasik Surgery to (hopefully) improve your eyesight. To "Expand Inner Vision" is a different procedure, beginning with Googling the 3 words in quotes.

Friday, January 26, 2018

Words for the Day: Friday, January 26, 2018

The Words for Today (Friday) are Trust and Faith. Do you Trust your Vision? If you do not Trust your "physical vision", you might wear Glasses or Contacts. But I am also talking about your "Inner Vision", and I don't think your Optometrist handles this!

Thursday, January 25, 2018

Word for the Day: Thursday, January 25, 2018

The Word for Today (Thursday) is Gratitude. A Vision of Gratitude? In fact, I have intense Gratitude for everybody, who has helped me in the last few days, all the ways from our all time low of 4 Degrees (Fahrenheit), to (just a few days later) 70 Degrees! Thank you Very Much, all of you!

Wednesday, January 24, 2018

Word for the Day: Wednesday, January 24, 2018

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Equality. I have a Vision of "Equal Opportunity for All". I would like to see this in our World. And when I say "All", I mean it: Every person, every Country, every Race. All Genders, including ones we haven't heard of yet, and of course, allowing for how the person views him/herself (i.e. their Identity). Does this cover everybody? If you feel left out, feel free to Comment. Thank you.

Tuesday, January 23, 2018

Word for the Day: Tuesday, January 23, 2018

The Word for Today (Tuesday) is Prudence. A Vision of Prudence? [or] A Prudent Vision? So what *is* Prudence, but being Practical? For example, it is possible to go too far with it, which might get you defined as a Prude. Balance is the answer.

Monday, January 22, 2018

Word for the Day: Monday, January 22, 2018

The Word for Today (Monday) is Innocence. Vision of Innocence? [or] An Innocent Vision? Both? Remember that Innocence has to do with more, than the "opposite of Guilt". For example, consider the "Innocence of little children".

Sunday, January 21, 2018

Word for the Day: Sunday, January 21, 2018

The Word for Today (Sunday) is Forgiveness. Forgive my Vision? (Hope not, to have to say that!) But how about, "Forgive my *lack* of Vision"? Think about that!

Weekly Theme: Week of January 21-27, 2018

The Theme for this Week is Vision.  How good is your Vision?  20/20?  With or without Glasses?  Now, a deeper question:  How good is your Inner Vision?  Can you see in the Future?  (We all do it to some extent, or we would have trouble planning ahead).  How about "Sideways"?  (Alternative Realities?)  These, actually are more important than you think!  And good luck!

Saturday, January 20, 2018

Word for the Day: Saturday, January 20, 2018

The Word for Today (Saturday) is Authenticity. An Authentic Union? (As opposed to a Counterfeit Union?) What are we looking for? A "Certificate of Authenticity", like you might find from a Plate, issued by the Franklin Mint? Anyway, this ignores the most important Authenticity of all: That  *You*  be Authentic to Yourself!

Friday, January 19, 2018

Word for the Day: Friday, January 19, 2018

The Word for Today (Friday) is Interpretation. So how would one Interpret a Union? (I guess it depends on what kind of Union we are talking about: Labor Union? Union of two people in Marriage? Union of several states (or Provinces), to make a country? A Prison Gang? In other words, there are many kinds of Unions). But, regardless, also consider Interpretation to be the basis for a lucrative Career.

Thursday, January 18, 2018

Word for the Day: Thursday, January 18, 2018

The Word for Today (Thursday) is Socialization. "A Social Union"? [or] (Hilariously Incorrect Word Usage): "Union of Socialists"? However, if you *are* in a Union of more than one person, "being Social" makes sense.

Wednesday, January 17, 2018

Word for the Day: Wednesday, January 17, 2018

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Concentration. A Union of Concentrates? [or] A Concentrated Union? (Just add water!) But the Word Meaning that I think is most important comes from this usage: "You Get what you Concentrate on". [or] "Anything you Concentrate [or Focus] on, can be accomplished". Make sense?

Tuesday, January 16, 2018

Word for the Day: Tuesday, January 16, 2018

The Word for Today (Tuesday) is Acceptability. Acceptable Union? Indeed: Some Unions (i.e. The Mafia) are, basically together, to commit illegal actions. So what is most important? To be Acceptable to yourself, of course!

Monday, January 15, 2018

Word for the Day: Monday, January 15, 2018

The Word for Today (Monday) is Generosity. So do we have a Generous Union? [or] Do we have a Union of Generous People? (These are *not* the same!) Give up? Just conduct one Generous Act a Day for a Week, and ask yourself the same question. Simple?

Sunday, January 14, 2018

Word for the Day: Sunday, January 14, 2018

The Word for Today (Sunday) is Sharing. And yes, a Union (whether, for example a Marriage of two people, or the Merger of two Companies) isn't complete, unless shared with other people. So Share and Share alike!

Weekly Theme: Week of January 14-20, 2018

The Theme for this Week is Union.  There are so many uses of this Word, that I am not sure where to start!  There are Labor Unions, Unions of States, making a Nation, and "Mergers" of multiple (but usually two) Corporations, into one, larger Corporation.  Two Synonyms (besides Merger) are Combination and Amalgamation.  Finally, a Marriage is a Union of two people, into the start of a Family.

Saturday, January 13, 2018

Words for the Day: Saturday, January 13, 2018

The Words for Today (Saturday) are Overview and Perspective. Big Picture View on Integration? [or] An Integrated Executive Summary? Look at it this way: A great way to Integrate the knowledge of a Topic, is to get the Big Picture View of it. Think about it.

Friday, January 12, 2018

Word for the Day: Friday, January 12, 2018

The Word for Today (Friday) is Reflection. Reflecting Integration? [or] An Integrated Reflection? (Hmmm...) Remember that Reflection is one of those Words, with more than one meaning: Anything from a deep form of Review, to what you see in a Mirror. And, according to some "New Age Teachings, we are "Mirrors for Each Other". Something to ponder.

Thursday, January 11, 2018

Word for the Day: Thursday, January 11, 2018

The Word for Today (Thursday) is Study. Studying of Integration? [or] Integrated Study? (You could do worse). Do realize, that we have finite time in our Lifetimes for Study, so choose your Study Topics carefully. And study well!

Wednesday, January 10, 2018

Word for the Day: Wednesday, January 10, 2018

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Absorption. So do we Absorb Integration? [or] Do we Integrate Absorption? How about Integrated Sponges? But if you are in an Integrated Learning Environment, say, for learning a new Language, Absorption is an Awesome way to learn. Think Immersion Training.

Tuesday, January 9, 2018

Word for the Day: Tuesday, January 9, 2018

The Word for Today (Tuesday) is Review. Review of Integration? [or] Integrated Review?  (Both seem possible).  In your life, Reviews can be of sizes and shapes:  Anything from Reviewing a Shopping List, to see if it was complete, to a Daily Review, seeing how your day went, to the final Life Review, where your entire life is evaluated.  Important?  I think so.

Monday, January 8, 2018

Word for the Day: Monday, January 8, 2018

The Word for Today (Monday) is Experimentation. Integrated Experiments? [or] Experiments in Integration? (I like the second one better). But ponder this: What is Life, if not a series of Experiments? And don't forget Tomorrow's Review!  :-)

Sunday, January 7, 2018

Word for the Day: Sunday, January 7, 2018

The Word for Today (Sunday) is Recognition. Recognizing when you are Integrated? Why not? And yes, life can, Indeed be as simple as this!

Weekly Theme: Week of January 7-13, 2018

The Theme for this Week is Integration.  So what does this mean?  For one thing, this has been in the News, giving it a rather interesting meaning:  Opposite of Segregation!  Integration = Combine.  Segregation = Separate.  What could be simpler?  Unless it's aspects of your own life that's being "combined".  Then, things can  *really*  get interesting!

Saturday, January 6, 2018

Word for the Day: Saturday, January 6, 2018

The Word for Today (Saturday) is Resolve. How's this for a New Years Resolution? "I Resolve to Survive"? Of course, I like a joke I heard once, decades ago: "I Resolve to not Lose my Resolve"! Anyway remember that Resolutions can be made anytime in the Year, not just at New Years.

Friday, January 5, 2018

Word for the Day: Friday, January 5, 2018

The Word for Today (Friday) is Courage. Does it take Courage to Survive? It can, if the odds are way against you. We have some great books and movies out there, about people who have beaten the odds, and survived, when others would have surely died. But be careful: Some people liken Courage with Foolhardiness. They are NOT the same!

Thursday, January 4, 2018

Words for the Day: Thursday, January 4, 2018

The Words for Today (Thursday) are Strength and Empowerment. Do you need to be Strong and Empowered to Survive? Based on how useful help from others is, I would have to suggest no. But does it help? Absolutely! Find your own Strength! Be empowered! You will thank yourself for it!

Wednesday, January 3, 2018

Word for the Day: Wednesday, January 3, 2018

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Competence. Are you Competent to Survive? Many of us are. Are you Competent to Thrive? Decrease that number! Because effective living requires quite a bit more, than "mere Survival". But don't knock it, because it has to be the first step.

Tuesday, January 2, 2018

Word for the Day: Tuesday, January 2, 2018

The Word for Today (Tuesday) is Endurance. Do you need Endurance to Survive? It user *seems* so, especially with the Weather Systems, currently in effect right now, at least in the Northern Hemisphere of Planet Earth. And how do you develop and maintain this Endurance? Many swear by Fitness Centers and Health Clubs. But there is another angle, that people overlook: Yoga. Good luck!

Word for the Day: Monday, January 1, 2018

The Word for Today (Monday) is Fertility. And yes, Fertility is quite important to the Survival of any of the Species, living on Planet Earth. But personally? The most important thing, in my opinion, is that Fertility can have other meanings. For example, I heartily recommend developing, and maintaining a Fertile Imagination.
