Word for the Day: Tuesday, January 31, 2017

The Word for Today (Tuesday) is Review. Integrated Review? Review of our "Integration Policies"? (Though the way, some treat our Minorities *could* use some "Review"!) But I think more attention needs to go to "Integrated Review", as I'm intrigued at the 187,000 hits I just got, plugging that into Google!

Word for the Day: Monday, January 30, 2017

The Word for Yesterday (Monday) was Experimentation. Integrated experiments? Experiments in Integration? Oh well. But all the experiments in the world didn't get me to Post this on time! :-( Perhaps a symptom of being overwhelmed? Oh well...

Sunday, January 29, 2017

Word for the Day: Sunday, January 29, 2017

The Word for Today (Sunday) is Recognition. Now I, personally, Recognize Diversity, and welcome it, even the diversity of our plants and animals. (My special interest is studying Insects). Unfortunately, I've heard some people say, with a straight face, "The only good Insect is a dead Insect!" And, in the news, there are some, unfortunately, that don't appear to tolerate even the *minor differences*, between the People, living on this Planet!

Weekly Theme: Week of 1/29 to 2/04/2017

The Theme for this Week is Integration.  I find it amusing, that the opposite of Integration, "Segregation" is in the news right now.  Because, unfortunately, some people have trouble tolerating Diversity, whether by race, Country of origin, or even by what God (if any) that we worship!  Now, some people wonder why we don't have "open visits" by beings from other Planets.  Unfortunately, I have an answer:  If we have so much trouble, as a planet, handling our own Diversity, as well as the diversity of plants and animals (for example, insects), why would we even think that we would come, even close, to being calm, relaxed and comfortable, among races from other planets?

Word for the Day: Saturday, January 28, 2017

The Word for Today (Saturday) is Resolve. Let's see: "I Resolve to keep my Resolve to Survive". Jokes aside, some "survival techniques", such as improving the diet, and exercising the body, often require special help, such as yearly resolutions. And, once again, remember that Resolutions can be made anytime, not just at New Years.

Friday, January 27, 2017

Word for the Day: Friday, January 27, 2017

The Word for Today (Friday) is Courage. By the way, IMHO [In My Humble Opinion], it can take, quite a *bit* of Courage to decide to Survive, in some extremely treacherous environments, whether they be, because of the Force of Nature, Health Issues, Political "Upheaval", or Out-and-Out War. Think about it!

Thursday, January 26, 2017

Words for the Day: Thursday, January 26, 2017

The Words for Today (Thursday) are Strength and Empowerment. Now, both of these are *quite* important to Survival. No question! And, of course, when people think of developing, or maintaining these two traits, they often think of "Membership in a Gym". But there are other things that help also. For one, some forms of Martial Arts. (I am partial to Aikido, due to how "gentle" it is [at least, when compared to *some* examples, such as Karate and Kung Fu]). But besides that, I keep coming back to my most common recommendation: Yoga.

Wednesday, January 25, 2017

Word for the Day: Wednesday, January 25, 2017

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Competence. Are you Competent to Survive? Now, some would consider that a "rude question" to ask. But I would ask them what sort of risks they take, through their lifetime? See, competent risks: Planes occasionally crash. I fly. So I take a risk, and consider it a competent one. But I would consider risking your life, by getting addicted to a substance or activity, to show signs of IN-competence!

Tuesday, January 24, 2017

Word for the Day: Tuesday, January 24, 2017

The Word for Today (Tuesday) is Endurance. So do we "have to" Endure, to Survive? In my opinion, it helps, though things are more complex than that. And, by the way, in addition to "joining a Gym", I recommend Yoga, as a tool, for "Endurance Training".

Monday, January 23, 2017

Word for the Day: Monday, January 23, 2017

The Word for Today (Monday) is Fertility. Now, Fertility aids Survival, of course. But, to be more accurate, it's "Survival of the Species", more than individual survival that's at stake here. Though it can, at times hinder the survival of the species, if overdone: Over-population isn't a laughing matter.

Note that Fertility has other meanings, besides procreation: for example, a Fertile Imagination.

Sunday, January 22, 2017

Word for the Day: Sunday, January 22, 2017

The Word for Today (Sunday) is Stability. Now obviously, a "stable environment" is easier to "Survive" than a "Chaotic one". But it "could" be "more exciting" to be in the Chaotic environment. Have fun, but be careful!

Weekly Theme: Week of January 22-28, 2017

The Theme for this Week is Survival.  So what does this mean?  According to Google, it means "the state or fact of continuing to live or exist, typically in spite of an accident, ordeal, or difficult circumstances".  Now, in "new age - type" literature, I've that "surviving" is more involved than "simply existing", but "thriving" is better than "just surviving".  Go figure!  But the Google definition suggested "difficult circumstances", which often shows up in the news.  So are you going to Exist, Survive, or Thrive?

Saturday, January 21, 2017

Word for the Day: Saturday, January 21, 2017

The Word for Today (Saturday) is Release. Release from Manifestation? (No!) Manifesting good ways to Release yourself from Limitations? (Much better!) And note that I'm seeing these Words and Themes (including last weeks Patronage) in the news. Awesome how this works!

Friday, January 20, 2017

Word for the Day: Friday, January 20, 2017

The Word for Today (Friday) is Aspiration. I Aspire to Manifest the Very Best Reality I can, using whatever Tools I can, day by day, and I Aspire to Provide the best Service I can, through the Troubleshooting that I do, in this, and other Realities. And remember, we *are* Multidimensional!

Thursday, January 19, 2017

Word for the Day: Thursday, January 19, 2017

The Word for Today (Thursday) is Contrast. Contrast in Manifestation? Or Manifesting Contrast? (And yes, I know that there are medical meanings for, both today's and tomorrow's Words). So why would we want control, over the contrast in our lives? Because too little Contrast can get boring, yet too much Contrast can get, downright scary!

Wednesday, January 18, 2017

Word for the Day: Wednesday, January 18, 2017

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Adaptability. Manifestation of Adaptability? [or] Adaptable Manifestation? I think there's room for both sides of this. For example, I believe it takes Adaptability (or Flexibility) to manifest, in an effective manner, because it can take several "attempts", before what you see, in Reality comes close to what you asked for.

Tuesday, January 17, 2017

Words for the Day: Tuesday, January 17, 2017

The Words for Today (Tuesday) are Agility and Grace. So how *do* you Manifest Agility and Grace in your life, if you don't feel you have it now? Yoga comes to mind. Also, try looking up "Labyrinth Walking" on Google? Because you *don't* walk fast through one of those. Good luck!

Monday, January 16, 2017

Word for the Day: Monday, January 16, 2017

The Word for Today (Monday) is Acceleration. Accelerated Manifestation? That can be quite useful. Manifestation of Acceleration? Now *that* depends. If it's spiritual or intellectual acceleration, awesome. But manifesting acceleration in a motor vehicle can be tricky, because excessive acceleration can lead to speeding tickets or, worse, traffic accidents. Be careful!

Sunday, January 15, 2017

Words for the Day: Sunday, January 15, 2017

The Words for Today (Sunday) are Patience and Tolerance. These Words work together, with our Theme, in many different ways: Patient Manifestation. Tolerating what you Manifest. And, of course, Manifesting Patience! Now keep in mind that Patience is a great tool to have, in any situation.

Weekly Theme: Week of January 15-21, 2017

The Theme for this Week is Manifestation.  So what does it mean to manifest something?  According to Google, it's pretty "simple":  Displaying or showing, with usage: "Ray manifested signs of severe depression".  Since I believe our Theme goes deeper than that, I looked further, to "howtomanifestreality.com", to get quite a bit of information, regarding how Energy can be transformed, for our benefit.  It's worth a read.  Good luck!

Saturday, January 14, 2017

Word for the Day: Saturday, January 14, 2017

The Word for Today (Saturday) is Acknowledgement. I find it helpful to publicly acknowledge the businesses and causes that I Patronize. Likewise, it is helpful for businesses and causes to acknowledge their Patrons. Once again, this works in both directions. Finally, remember that it takes knowledge to acknowledge.

Friday, January 13, 2017

Word for the Day: Friday, January 13, 2017

The Word for Today (Friday) is Kindness. And, of course, this includes being Kind to Businesses and Causes, that you Patronize. (And don't forget, Businesses and Causes, to look at your Patrons: Don't take them for granted, but throw some Kindness their way, as this works in both directions). Don't forget, that Kindness helps the Earth go around.

Thursday, January 12, 2017

Word for the Day: Thursday, January 12, 2017

The Word for Today (Thursday) is Encouragement. And, of course, encourage the businesses and causes you Patronize. This can even include, say for a Public Library, pitching in, during their Fundraising phases, as infrastructure, such as Free Lending Libraries aren't free! Remember: It takes Courage to Encourage.

Wednesday, January 11, 2017

Word for the Day: Wednesday, January 11, 2017

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Thoughtfulness. And be thoughtful to the places that you patronize. An example of one who, quite possibly was a "cog in the wheel" of the downfall of "Mom and Pop" bookstores, once told me how he would shop around, in these local bookstores, even likely asking for help finding titles, only to leave without making a purchase, and then paying less, getting the book on eBay or Amazon. Yuck!

Tuesday, January 10, 2017

Word for the Day: Tuesday, January 10, 2017

The Word for Today (Tuesday) is Support. And being a Patron of a place (i.e. Public Library, store or Restaurant) is a form of Support. And please note that places like these are *not* to be taken for Granted. In fact, I've lost some of my favorite places, because my support, alone wasn't enough for them to survive. So one part of Patronage is to tell others what you are excited about.

Monday, January 9, 2017

Word for the Day: Monday, January 9, 2017

The Word for Today (Monday) is Comfort. Staying with that "Nourishing Restaurant" from yesterday, pay attention to the seating: Do they provide benches? If so, are they padded? If they provide chairs, how "Comfortable" are they? When I went to a Restaurant, that provided metal, folding chairs, I was in a big hurry to finish my food. And then, after I left, I promptly forgot the name of the Restaurant (and, when reminded by a friend, suggested a different choice). But then, I've been to a number of Restaurants, with comfortable chairs, and enjoy returning to them. In fact, comfort is almost as important to me, as quality of the food!

Sunday, January 8, 2017

Word for the Day: Sunday, January 8, 2017

The Word for Today (Sunday) is Nourishment. Yes, patronize your favorite, Nourishing Restaurant. And this Restaurant will play into tomorrow's description also. (I like this Theme).

Weekly Theme: Week of January 8-14, 2017

The Theme for this Week is Patronage.  So what is a Patron?  According to Google, "a person who gives financial or other support to a person, organization, cause, or activity".  This could include anything from a small business (i.e. a Grocery Store), to a non-profit organization that supports a cause (i.e. Greenpeace).  So are you a Patron?  Of what?  Thank you!

Saturday, January 7, 2017

Word for the Day: Saturday, December 7, 2017

The Word for Today (Saturday) is Prosperity. Prosperity, through Ethical means? What a Concept!!! Would that everybody had to go through steps, like these?

Friday, January 6, 2017

Word for the Day: Friday, December 6, 2017

The Word for Today (Friday) is Liberation. Liberation *from* Ethics? I think not! But ethically liberating yourself from *situations* that come up in your life, is a different thing completely!

Thursday, January 5, 2017

Word for the Day: Thursday, December 5, 2017

The Word for Today (Thursday) is Wisdom. And what better "Set of Principles", as well as "Code of Ethics", than Wise ones?

Wednesday, January 4, 2017

Word for the Day: Wednesday, January 4, 2017

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Impartiality. Principles about Impartiality? An Impartial code of Ethics? I like the sound of the second one, but think it might be as hard to find, as an Impartial News agency.

Tuesday, January 3, 2017

Word for the Day: Tuesday, January 3, 2017

The Word for Today (Tuesday) is Consequence. Principles have Consequences. Ethics have Consequences. But, most important, *messing with*, or the *absence* of either can *also* have consequences. For example, I find it interesting that Ethics is in the news, in the US House of Representatives!

Monday, January 2, 2017

Word for the Day: Monday, January 2, 2017

The Word for Today (Monday) is Elimination. And no, we do *not* mean "eliminating ethical principles". But a good Code of Ethics often *does* deal with how, as well as *what* we eliminate from our lives. For example, eliminating habits doesn't always eliminate what the habit is about. If you have a habit of "over-eating", eliminating that habit still requires you to eat food. It's just the "details" that matter.

Sunday, January 1, 2017

Word for the Day: Sunday, January 1, 2017

The Word for Today (Sunday) is Self-Reliance. And what better thing, for our "Selves" to "rely" on, but our Principles and Ethics?

Weekly Themes: Week of January 1-7, 2017

The Themes for this Week are Principles and Ethics.  According to Google, Ethics are defined as "Moral Principles that govern a person's or group's behavior".  In corporate environments, we often hear of a "Code of Ethics", which can be publicly written down.  The problem?  The ones that write down these codes do not always have to follow them!
