The Word for Today (Monday) is Innocence. Our Themes? Sure, as long as you're careful. For example, it might not be pleasant to transform yourself from Innocent to Guilty.

The Word for Today (Sunday) is Forgiveness. Asking forgiveness for one's transitions? I guess, if it's a transition from law abiding citizen, to a criminal. Please behave yourselves!

Weekly Themes: Week of 07/27 to 08/02/2014

The Themes for this Week are Transition and Transformation.  These themes are related, as you are likely to be different, at the end, than you were, at the beginning of the process.  However, transition is more "ordinary", such as the transition from the sophomore year, to the junior year of high school.  Transformation, on the other hand, has many meanings, from Molecular Biology, to Religion and Spirituality. Please note that some transitions might not be pleasant, such as the transition from a free life, in the world at large, to a multi-year stay in a prison.  Be good!

The Word for Today (Friday) is Interpretation. Interpreting your projects? Since many topics have their own "terminology" (with computers being a big example), interpretation is an important phase of any project. And it can be a great career choice also, if you know more than one language.

The Themes for this Week are Precipitation and Initiation.  I consider both of these to be variation on starting a project.  If by Precipitation, think of it as "raining from the sky, right into your lap".  Initiation, however, suggests the possibility that you, yourself, possibly through imagination, came up with the project yourself.

The Word for Today (Friday) is Reflection. How can you discover, through reflection? Besides "discovering yourself" in a mirror? In a student scenario, you can develop, or expand on a discovery, by reflecting on it.

The Word for Today (Thursday) is Study. Discovery, through study? Of course, though I caution you to be selective about subjects to study. At best, you might burn yourself out, if you study "too many topics". At worst, you might pick one (for example, "how to build explosives") that actually throw you on a harmful life track.

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Absorption.. This is like MANY commercials, these days, which include fantasy and/or science fiction depictions of Wormholes, bringing you from your home, into a "New Life", where the product, that is being advertised, saves the day. You sure "discover", if you jump INTO that wormhole. But the only issue is that you might NOT like what you get. Just be careful, folks, because magic is afoot.

The Word for Today (Monday) is Experimentation. And don't think you can't discover a LOT, via experiments. Two examples I can think of are LSD and Penicillin.

The Word for Today (Sunday) is Recognition. Can you "recognize a discovery", if you experienced one? Or "discover recognition" say, if you experience the double-edged sword of getting famous?

Weekly Theme: Week of July 13-19, 2014

The Theme for this Week is Discovery.  The "standard" definition (as well as the expected one, when the Michael system was being "thought up", perhaps millions of years ago) uses itself:  "the action or process of discovering or being discovered".  (Note:  The other "main" definition has to do with law, in particular, the "relationship" between the Prosecution and the Defense:  "the compulsory disclosure, by a party to an action, of relevant documents referred to by the other party").

The part I like the best, is in the first one, where it might be YOU, that is "discovered" by others.  (An example would be a "garage band", that was overheard by a music lover who, by "officially" discovering them, made them famous).

The Word for Today (Saturday) is Resolve. Let's see: "I resolve to move to a more harmonious location". Obviously, everything depends on where the "harmony quotient" falls, for his/her present location. ("Mother's basement?" Hmmm...)

The Word for Today (Friday) is Courage. And, keeping with our Theme, some "locations" take a LOT of courage, for someone to choose to live there. Two examples I can think of, both because of tough winters: Fargo, North Dakota and Nome, Alaska.

The Words for Today (Thursday) are Strength and Empowerment. First off, do you know your own strength? Do you feel empowered? These are important questions. And, tying this to our Theme, I've found I feel more powerful in some areas of the country, such as San Francisco and Seattle. I felt a lot weaker in, for one example, Lodi, New Jersey. I believe this is something that can occur, due to climate and the political environment, to name just two examples.

The Word for Today (Tuesday) is Endurance. And yes, I would think some locations would be harder to endure than others, such as war-torn areas, or areas that have no water (including California, where I used to live). Examine where you live. Are you happy there? Thank you.

The Word for Today (Sunday) is Stability. A stable location? For me, that is my "Base of Operations", aka "A stable living environment". I make that a priority.

Weekly Theme: Week of July 6-12, 2014

The Theme for this Week is Location.  How important is your location?  It depends.  For example, if you are located inside an active volcano, that would qualify as an "uncomfortable location".  Other examples would include California's Death Valley in the middle of the Summer, or Antarctica in the middle of the Winter (or, arguably, at any time).  A comfortable location could be practically anywhere, as well as it includes a couch, a bed, working electricity and water, a TV and books and, for me, a computer.  Also, of course, would be heating, when cold outside, and air conditioning, when hot. 

How will this go with the Words for this week?  We shall see.

The Word for Today (Thursday) is Contrast. How does this connect with our Themes? For one, compositions you write, or creative works (i.e. stories) can get boring, if there is too little contrast in them. On the other hands, too much contrast can make them, either not make much sense or, in some cases, become VERY scary!

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Adaptability. This is a synonym for Flexibility, which helps imagination a lot. And, in my opinion, adaptability can even help, to complete a composition.
