Weekly Themes: Week of May 15-21, 2016

The Themes for this Week are Composition and Imagination.  Both of these are related to the "acquisition of a project".   Indeed, a "composition" is a "work" of art, literature or music.  But what is it "composed" of?  Imagination comes to mind, of course, but something more simple might also be true, especially if a piece of music is, "Theme and Variations".  In that case, the "theme" already exists, often as part of an earlier "composition".  Now, my specialty is classical music, so that is the basis of my analysis.  How you define, for example, a painting, I'll leave to others.
