Word for the Day: Saturday, September 18, 2021

The Word for Today (Saturday) is Prosperity.  Can your Set of Principles and/or Code of Ethics help you to be Prosperous?  Yes!  See, with real Prosperity, both sides of the transactions in question benefit.  In other words, this is the Win-Win Concept.  (This is, as opposed to the Zero-Sum Game, where one person only wins, when the other person loses).  This should do it.

Word for the Day: Friday, September 17, 2021

The Word for Today (Friday) is Liberation.  Liberation from Principles and Ethics?  (Please, no).   But Liberation from, what stands in the way of creating your Principles and Ethics is a different story.  Go for it!

Word for the Day: Thursday, September 16, 2021

The Word for Today (Thursday) is Wisdom.  Wise Principles and Wise Ethics?   (The best kind).   So where do you find Wisdom?   Book reading?  Weekend Seminars?   (Maybe).  But I suggest that the best place to look is in your Daily Life.

Tuesday, September 14, 2021

Word for the Day: Tuesday, September 14, 2021

The Word for Today (Tuesday) is Consequence.   So do Principles and Ethics have Consequences?  Of Course!  But I suggest that refusing to maintain your own set of Principles and/or Ethics have even worse Consequences.   Of course, your Mileage may vary.

Monday, September 13, 2021

Word for the Day: Monday, September 13, 2021

The Word for Today (Monday) is Elimination.  Eliminating our Principles and Ethics?  (Please don't!)   But Eliminating things, that stand in the way of our Principles and Ethics is a completely different thing.

Word for the Day: Sunday, September 12, 2021

The Word for Today (Sunday) is Self-Reliance.  And Self-Reliance can, both be a good Principle, as well as highly Ethical.  Does it always work that way?  Of course not.   But that doesn't stop us from striving for it.

Weekly Themes: Week of September 12-18, 2021

The Themes for this Week are Principles and Ethics.  Do you have a personal Set of Principles?   How about a personal Code of Ethics?  In my opinion, both of these are important, especially with the adjective  "personal" attached.   Not everyone will agree, especially those heavily influenced by Religious implications.

Word for the Day: Saturday, September 11, 2021

The Word for Today (Saturday) is Expansion.  Expanding our Salvation?  (Okay, but...)  Yes, but what is there to Salvage, if we Expand, excessively around our Middle, due to lots of Delicious Food?  (This was not an easy Week!)

Friday, September 10, 2021

Words for the Day: Friday, September 10, 2021

The Words for Today are Trust and Faith.  Salvaging Trust, so as to have Faith in our Salvation?  (Not sure about that combination).  But there is one thing I am clear about:  Where people are concerned, Trust must be Earned, and Faith should not be Blind.

Wednesday, September 8, 2021

Word for the Day: Wednesday, September 8, 2021

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Equality.  Equal Salvation?  (What would that look like?)  But Equality "could" be something to Salvage, as long as we are talking about Equal Opportunity, and not Forced Conformity.  But how about Salvaging Salvation itself?  What would *that* look like?

Tuesday, September 7, 2021

Word for the Day: Tuesday, September 7, 2021

The Word for Today (Tuesday) is Prudence.  Prudent Salvation?   (64.6 million Hits on Google).   But can being Prudent help with Salvation?  (Since Prudence is about Practicality, I don't know why not).   And, believe it or not, I believe you should have fun also.

Monday, September 6, 2021

Word for the Day: Monday, September 6, 2021

The Word for Today (Monday) is Innocence.   Salvaging Innocence from a long and contentious Court proceeding?   For some people, this could be a long and arduous undertaking, even when the real perpetrator is known.  Definitely not what I am thinking of, when I hear the word Salvage.

Sunday, September 5, 2021

Word for the Day: Sunday, September 5, 2021

The Word for Today (Sunday) is Forgiveness.   To Salvage Forgiveness?  Forgive our Salvation?   It looks like this should be, quite an interesting Week.

Weekly Themes: Week of September 5-11, 2021

The Themes for this Week are Salvage and Salvation. Difference? We Salvage things, but people seek Salvation. In Theology, one meaning for Salvation is "deliverance from sin and its consequences". Sin? Oooh, this Week should prove Interesting.

Friday, September 3, 2021

Word for the Day: Friday, September 3, 2021

The Word for Today (Friday) is Interpretation.   Interpreting an Addiction?  (And translate it to WHAT language?)  But lets take Interpretation by itself:  It can make a wonderful Career Path.  The more Languages you know, the better.

Thursday, September 2, 2021

Word for the Day: Thursday, September 2, 2021

The Word for Today (Thursday) is Socialization.   Socialized Addictions?   (Yes.   That's where Bars come in).  And Socialization comes in many forms:   In Person or Electronic  (i.e.  Twitter or Facebook).   Be Social.

Word for the Day: Wednesday, September 1, 2021

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Concentration.   Concentrated Addictions?   (12 Million hits on Google).   Since you get what you Concentrate on, it might be better to Concentrate on ways to deal with Addictions, than concentrating on the Addictions themselves.  Try it and see.
