Weekly Theme: Week of February 18-24, 2018

The Theme for this Week is Domestication.  So what does it mean to be Domestic?  Among other things, Google states that it "relates to the running of a home".  And this fits some of the other meanings also.  For example, Domesticating an animal can be seen as making it "house ready".  Have fun, folks!

Word for the Day: Saturday, February 17, 2018

The Word for Today (Saturday) is Release. Healthy Release? [or] Release from Health? (Ahem!) Anyway, when you feel Stuck, look around! There may be something, in the "scene" you are in, that can allow you to Release you from ... What? Whatever makes you feel stuck, of course!

Word for the Day: Friday, February 16, 2018

The Word for Today (Friday) is Aspiration. Now today can get, downright silly, as there are Medical definitions for Aspiration (even including a procedure I underwent, back in 1982, to treat a "situation", called Pneumothorax. You can Google this, if you dare [the Wikipedia Article includes today's Word, under Management], but trust me! You don't want to experience this).

But the way I prefer to approach this combination, is to "Aspire to be the Healthiest person that I can".

Word for the Day: Thursday, February 15, 2018

The Word for Today (Thursday) is Contrast. Contrasts in Health? [or] Healthy Contrasts? Please note that these are two, completely different things. For example, a "Healthy Contrast", in my opinion, is a "moderate amount" of Contrast. Why? Because too little Contrast can seem boring, yet too much Contrast can get, downright Scary!

"Contrasts in Health"? I am less sure about this one, but living a balanced life should be helpful.

The Words for Today (Tuesday) are Agility and Grace. So how does conducting yourself, in an Agile and Graceful way foster Health? One way to look at a question like this, is to turn it around: Would it be easier to be Agile and Graceful, if you were healthy? When I've been sick, I've been *Anything* *but* Agile or Graceful! (Graceful Coughing? Agile Sneezing? No!) Be well.

The Words for Today (Sunday) are Patience and Tolerance. And yes, it fits: It takes Patience to consistently live in a Healthy manner. But, on the other hand, it makes sense to be Tolerant of minor "bumps in the road", such as an occasional Cold. Balance is the answer.

Weekly Theme: Week of February 11-17, 2018

The Theme for this Week is Health.  What does it mean to be Healthy?  It might help to recognize that there are more than one angle to Health:  Besides Physical Health, there is Emotional Health, Mental Health and Spiritual Health.  And the key to ALL of this, is to live a Balanced Life.

Wednesday, February 7, 2018

Word for the Day: Wednesday, February 7, 2018

The Word for Today (Wednesday) is Thoughtfulness. Thoughtful Service? Of course! For example, when I was a child, I would often try to "be of Service" to Mom, when she was cooking. However, all I usually ended up doing, was "getting in the way". So, if I were to be Thoughtful about this, I might have found a better approach, such as asking Mom if she needed help, and let her assign me tasks.

Saturday, February 3, 2018

Word for the Day: Saturday, February 3, 2018

The Word for Today (Saturday) is Prosperity. Complete Prosperity? [or] The Prosperity that comes with Completing Projects? Actually, both! But incomplete Projects don't usually pay the bills. Think about that!

Friday, February 2, 2018

Word for the Day: Friday, February 2, 2018

The Word for Today (Friday) is Liberation. Does this mean "Liberation" from Completing Projects? (Actually, I don't think you want to do that, because you are likely to be known, at least in some circles, by what projects (i.e. books or essays) that you *have* completed). So how does Liberation *really* combine with our Theme, Completion? For one thing, you can seek Liberation from certain "traits", that can stand in the way of completing projects, such as one I used a lot, Procrastination. Liberate yourself from that, and see how well your life works.

Word for the Day: Thursday, February 1, 2018

The Word for Today (Thursday) is Wisdom. The Wisdom of Completion? [or] Complete Wisdom? (I'll take the second one!) So how do you develop, and maintain Wisdom? According to some teachings (including "Michael Teachings" - which can be Googled), four Pillars: Proper Work, Proper Rest, Proper Play and Proper Study. Proper Study can include reading informative books. But the rest of them suggest that Wisdom comes, mainly from Life Experience.
